
Point Hope considers children a very important part of our church family. We strive to ensure their experience with our church
is as meaningful and educational as our adult service. Children
and youth are encouraged to attend worship with their family and we provide a variety of ways for children to actively participate in worship including a dedicated children's moment with Rev. Cate during our main worship service. For our youngest members and guests, nursery care is available during service.
Every summer we offer
vacation bible school in addition to
other fellowship activities for children throughout the year, including:
We welcome all children to Point Hope United Methodist Church and joyfully share the love of Jesus Christ with each and every one of them.
Additionally, the safety of our children and youth is of the utmost importance to our congregation. Every member of our church involved with our childrens' programs is required to complete
Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children program.
Upcoming Children's Activities:
- Children's Choir practice on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. at the Church (3404 Turgot Lane) - Will resume in September 2009
- Cub Scouts meet on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at the Church
