Being a member of our church family is much more than just attending worship services. God has hardwired us for relationships. Our connection groups allow us to connect with Christ and each other. Together, we share, study and interact with each other in order to strengthen our spirituality, our church family and our community. At Point Hope UMC, we have activities every day of the week.
We meet at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday in the room in the corner of the fellowship hall closest to the main entrance.
When we love others as we love ourselves, we define justice by what is right, fair and good for everyone. But we don’t stop there. Challenged by Jesus’ call for justice and mercy, we respond to human need ahead of adhering to external religious obligations. We identify with the vulnerable. We serve compassionately, give generously, forgive lavishly, pray persistently, and open wide the doors of our hearts and our churches. The lessons this quarter challenge us to live into these goals.
