We welcome all children to Point Hope United Methodist Church and joyfully share the love of Jesus Christ with each and every one of them. We consider children a very important part of our church family and strive to ensure their experience with our church is as meaningful and educational as our adult service. Children and youth are encouraged to attend worship with their family and we provide a variety of ways for children to actively participate in worship including a dedicated children’s moment with Rev. Narcie Jeter during our worship service. Children ages 4 to 5th grade may also go to Sunday School during the Sunday worship service at 10:45 a.m.
For our youngest members and guests under the age of 4, nursery care is available during service by caring and capable adults. We have a dedicated space for infants and toddlers with age-appropriate toys and amenities to ensure your child is comfortable and entertained while visiting with us. Additionally, the safety of our children and youth is of the utmost importance to our congregation. Every member of our church involved with our children’s programs is required to complete Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children program.
