The youth ministry at Point Hope United Methodist Church provides a variety of opportunities for youth involvement in the life of the
church. Our goal is to equip our youth to be strong Christians in today's world by sharing God's love and truth.
Youth Announcements
Youth group - Meets every Sunday at 5 p.m. at the church.
Revolution - The Point Hope Youth Group will be attending 'Revolution' again this year. Revolution is the South Carolina Conference's youth retreat in Columbia, SC at the Colonial Life Center on March 16-18. Registration is due by Sunday, Feb. 5. Let Pastor Walter know if you are coming and bring your registration fee by Feb. 19. The cost of the trip is $40 (not including 3 meals and $12 for a T-shirt).
Can you provide a dinner for our youth? There is a sign-up sheet on the Youth bulletin board. Dinner is needed for 6-10 people.
Confirmation Class
Confirmation is a 10-week class for sixth graders and those students higher than sixth grade that have not been confirmed.
Two teachers will lead the students through discussions about the elements of our faith, our worship, and our calling.
