Point Hope Church has a busy and active students congregation and we consider these young adults an important part of our congregation and the future of our church. The student ministry at Point Hope provides a variety of opportunities for student involvement in the life of the church. Our goal is to equip our students to be strong Christians in today’s world by sharing God’s love and truth.

Vision for Student Ministry

Our heart and mission is to engage and build relationships with the middle and high school students at Point Hope Church to lead them in a discipling relationship with Jesus Christ. As we engage these students in our student programs, we will equip them to know, love, and accept Jesus as their Savior, and serve Him and others. Through a combination of prayer, biblical teaching, missional experiences, and community building, we will help train and equip our students to be the next generation of faithful servants to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe this is God’s vision for this ministry.

Please pray with us that through this ministry and by God’s grace, our students will:

• Be transformed by the love of Jesus Christ

• Develop a clear knowledge of their faith in Jesus and what it means to be His disciple.

• Live their lives actively in worship, reading His word, and prayer

• Understand that God calls us to love and serve others

• Look for Christ-centered answers when faced with culturally based questions

• Love and honor their parents

• Know how to gracefully and humbly confront wrongs in themselves and others

• Understand that cultures are transformed when they embody Jesus

• Know that nothing can separate them from the love of God

This year’s Vacation Bible School for K-5th grade is July 29th - August 2nd. Middle and High School students are invited to get volunteer hours as well! Registration opens to the public on May 28th.

Middle School Student Ministry
