Rev. Elizabeth Sullivan

Point Hope Church’s pastor is Rev. Elizabeth Sullivan.

Pastor Sullivan is a native of South Carolina. She grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and attended UNC School for the Arts where she received a bachelor’s degree in music. She obtained her master’s degree in education from The University of Charleston.

Elizabeth received a call to full-time ministry while she traveled around the country with her husband, Col. Robert Sullivan, who served as an orthopedic surgeon in the United States Air Force. She attended Duke Divinity, Denver Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary. and graduated with her master’s degree in divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. She is ordained in the Global Methodist Church.

Prior to serving at Point Hope, Pastor Sullivan has served as an associate pastor at two of the fastest growing Methodist churches in the country. She has a deep belief in God as the Trinity and the power of The Gospel to transform the world.

Elizabeth and her husband live in Mount Pleasant and have three daughters.
